South Florida is known for its diverse ecosystems that house threatened and endangered species that can’t be found anywhere else in the United States.

The Big Cypress National Preserve provides five different habitats to a diverse range of species, including more than 190 bird species, 51 reptiles, 18 amphibians, and 66 species of fish.

In the Biscayne National Park, four ecosystems meld together to create a highly biodiverse environment. It includes mangrove forests, the north Florida Keys, and the southern portion of Biscayne Bay. The park also protects one of the world’s largest coral reefs. A wide range of fauna and flora thrive in this marine sanctuary.

You might catch a glimpse of majestic birds like the osprey, tricolored heron, or brown pelican while soaring through the air on our Biscayne National Grand Seaplane Tour. There’s also an abundance of mangrove forests that can be observed from above on this trip. Mangrove forests are an important part of stabilizing the coastal ecosystems of Florida and provide a habitat for many different species.

A seaplane tour is a great way to sit back, relax, and take in all the natural sights of South Florida. You’ll be able to see the fauna and flora of this tropical state and appreciate it from a greater distance. We’ll be sure you can get a closer look during your adventure, at a safe distance, of course!
